Coatings and Textures

SPRAYED LACQUER

Use sprayed lacquer as a protective coating on your finished prints. Sprayed lacquer is available in matte, semi matte, and clear finishes.

LACQUER COATING

Use lacquer as a protective coating on your finished prints. Lacquer is available in clear or luster finishes.

SPRAY TEXTURE

Heavy pebble texture spray used as a protective coating to your finished prints, or to achieve an upscale look. Due to the nature of this process, 3 additional in-lab days are needed.

MACHINE TEXTURE

Choose linen or pebble texture to give your prints an enhanced look

These texture finishes can be used to change the appearance of your prints to offer various price points or to provide a texture to deter scanning of your copyrighted work.

Mounting

ART BOARD

Art board mounting is accomplished by mounting the print to double-weight mount board by using heat and pressure.

STYRENE

This white, Lucite-like substrate is more rigid than art board and has fewer tendencies to warp.

FOAMCORE

The print is mounted to lightweight, durable foam core.

CANVAS ON MASONITE*

The print is mounted to high quality canvas, and then mounted to Masonite.

CANVAS ON STRETCHER FRAME*

The print is mounted to a piece of textured canvas then mounted on a stretcher frame.

IMPERIAL CANVAS*

Prints are mounted to heavy canvas-covered mount board. Imperial canvas panels are flush mounted.

MASONITE

Masonite provides added strength to your print by mounting it to 1/8"

BEVEL EDGE

Thick bevel-edge mount boards available in gold, silver or black. Available only in sizes shown.

* Canvas has a deep natural texture, random bumps and occasional irregular weave, all of which is part of its natural beauty.

Due to the texture characteristics of canvas, we will not assume responsibility for flaws in the canvas.

Fine Art Prints

The ultimate print for the discriminating buyer

Fine Art Prints are available in two formats:

• BORDERLESS – full-bleed image

• SALON – the image has a white border to accent the print

(see chart for details)

Each format is available in your choice of:

• Black & White

• Sepia Tone

SPECIFICATIONS

PAPER:

Hanmuehle Photo Rag 308 is a bright white, 100% cotton rag, acid-free

paper specially formulated for optimum photographic output. This is

archival-quality paper.

PIGMENT:

The Piezotone pigment inks are specially formulated for premium B&W output.

This pigment provides a 12-shade tonal range to reproduce a high

quality Black & White print. The combination of the Photo Rag paper and

Piezotone ink create a print with unparalleled archival quality.

FINISHING SERVICES:

• Mounting – Artboard, Styrene, Foamcore and Masonite.

(Mounting substrates are not acid-free)

• Spray is not available.
